Marina Elizabeth Kukla, Ph.D.

Adjunct Assistant Professor, Research Scientist at Roudebush VA Medical Center, Department of Psychology

Marina Kukla is a research scientist at the Center for Implementing Evidence Based Practice and clinical psychology at the Roudebush VA Medical Center. She is also an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.

She completed her predoctoral clinical internship at the University of California San Diego/VA San Diego Healthcare System in 2010 before earning her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from IUPUI in August 2010.

Dr. Kukla's primary research interests focus on psychosocial rehabilitation services that help persons with mental illness to recover and lead full and meaningful lives. She is particularly interested in employment services, such as supported employment, as well as clinical interventions, such as cognitive behavioral therapy that further these goals.
